What is the difference between Metric, PG, and NPT threads?
Metric (M) threads follow EN 60423 with a 1.5mm pitch and are the standard in European equipment. PG threads are a German standard (DIN 46320) still common in legacy installations. NPT is a US tapered pipe thread (ANSI B1.20.1). They are not interchangeable.
Does the IP68 rating apply to all materials?
