2 Product Overview
The H1Z2Z2-K 25mm² solar cable is a TUV Rheinland certified photovoltaic cable per EN 50618:2014, engineered for high-current DC power transmission in large-scale solar PV installations. Its 25mm² cross-section provides ample ampacity for main DC trunk runs, combiner box to inverter connections, and high-power string combining in utility-scale projects.
The cable features a high-purity tinned copper conductor with Class 5 flexible stranding (323 strands × 0.31mm per IEC 60228), delivering a low DC resistance of just 0.780 Ω/km for minimized system power loss over long distances. The fine stranding configuration ensures excellent flexibility despite the large cross-section, facilitating installation in cable trays, conduits, and trench layouts.
The double-layer XLPO (cross-linked polyolefin) insulation and jacket system is produced via electron-beam cross-linking, delivering outstanding thermal stability from -40°C to +120°C conductor temperature, UV resistance, ozone resistance, and mechanical durability over 25+ years. The LSZH jacket limits toxic emissions in fire conditions — critical for commercial and utility installations.
