2 Product Overview
The H1Z2Z2-K 4mm² twin core solar cable is a TUV Rheinland certified photovoltaic cable (EN 50618:2014) featuring a flat double-core design that integrates both DC positive and negative conductors in a single jacket. This eliminates the need for separate single-core cable runs, simplifying installation and reducing material costs.
Each core features a high-purity tinned copper conductor with Class 5 flexible stranding (56 strands × 0.285mm per IEC 60228), delivering a maximum DC resistance of just 4.97 Ω/km per core. The twin-core flat profile (6.1mm × 12.3mm) is space-efficient and ideal for routing in cable trays, conduit, and along module frames.
The double-layer XLPO (cross-linked polyolefin) insulation and jacket system is produced via electron-beam cross-linking, providing outstanding thermal stability (-40°C to +120°C conductor), UV resistance, ozone resistance, and mechanical durability over 25+ years. The LSZH jacket ensures low smoke and zero halogen emission in fire conditions. With a 50A current rating at 1500V DC, this cable is well-suited for high-power PV string combining and inverter connections.
Manufactured to rigorous quality standards under the management of SORIVO, each batch undergoes 6.5 kV AC dielectric testing and 10 kV AC spark testing.
