2 Product Overview
The H1Z2Z2-K 6mm² solar cable is a TUV-certified photovoltaic cable designed for high-current DC power transmission in large-scale solar PV systems. It complies with EN 50618:2014 and IEC 62930, making it suitable for European and international solar installations requiring higher ampacity than 4mm² cabling.
The cable features high-purity tinned copper strands (Class 5 stranding per IEC 60228, 84×0.3mm), delivering excellent flexibility for routing through conduit, cable trays, and around module frame edges while maintaining superior oxidation and corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
The double-layer XLPO (cross-linked polyolefin) insulation and jacket are produced via electron-beam cross-linking technology, providing exceptional thermal stability (-40°C to +120°C conductor), UV resistance, ozone resistance, and mechanical toughness. The LSZH jacket ensures low smoke and zero halogen emission in fire conditions — critical for rooftop and confined-space installations.
Manufactured to rigorous quality standards under the management of SORIVO, each production batch undergoes 10 kV AC spark testing and 6.5 kV AC dielectric sample testing. The cable is engineered for 25+ years of service life in grid-connected solar farms, commercial rooftops, BIPV projects, and off-grid power systems. 3 Key Features
TUV Rheinland Certified
Certified to EN 50618 and TUV 2PfG 1169 — accepted by European installers, EPC contractors, and utility-scale project developers.
Tinned Copper Conductor
84-strand Class 5 tinned copper for enhanced flexibility, corrosion resistance, and stable long-term conductivity. Lower DC resistance (≤3.39 Ω/km) reduces system power loss.
Dual XLPO Insulation + Jacket
Electron-beam cross-linked XLPO provides thermal stability, mechanical toughness, and UV tolerance for 25+ years of continuous outdoor exposure.
1800V DC Rated
Rated up to 1800V DC, supporting modern high-voltage PV systems with extended string lengths, reduced BOS costs, and improved system efficiency.
Halogen-Free, Low Smoke
LSZH jacket composition limits toxic gas and smoke emission in fire scenarios — essential for rooftop, BIPV, and indoor installations.
Wide Temperature Tolerance
Reliable operation from -40°C to +120°C conductor temperature, suitable for desert, alpine, tropical, and arctic climate zones.
Flexible Routing
Minimum bend radius of 4× OD simplifies installation in confined junction boxes, combiner boxes, and around module frames.
Multiple Cross-Sections
Available from 1.5mm² to 35mm² across the same H1Z2Z2-K series, enabling consistent sourcing across residential to utility-scale projects.
