Product Overview
A sealed entry at the price point of a plain one
This is the economy range of PA66 nylon cable glands: the same IP68 sealing principle and the same clamping-claw strain relief as the standard range, aimed at volume applications where the gland is not the item that should decide the budget.
The body is flame-retardant PA66 nylon with an NBR grommet and a nylon lock nut, in black RAL 9005 or light grey RAL 7035. Sizes run from M12 to M63 for cable diameters of 3 to 44 mm, and the same body is available with metric, PG or NPT threads.
What the economy range does not do is claim more than it is: it is a general-purpose indoor and sheltered outdoor gland. For permanent salt spray, strong solvents or static temperatures above +100°C, the metal glands in the same catalogue are the correct choice — the sealing concept is the same, the material is not.
Ordering is deliberately flexible: samples from a single piece, stock sizes in 2–4 working days, and production orders in 5–10 working days. For distributors and OEM programmes the gland can be supplied in bulk packing with customer labelling.

The M20 row is highlighted because it is the most common entry. PG bodies follow DIN 40430 and NPT bodies ANSI B1.20.1 with the same cable ranges. Select by cable outer diameter first, then match the enclosure thread; thread length is the value to check against wall thickness.

The economy range uses the same sealing principle as the standard nylon gland; the difference is in tolerance banding, finishing and documentation rather than in the IP concept. For salt spray, solvents or static temperatures above +100°C, specify a metal gland.

Yes, because the seal is a moulded grommet compressed by the dome — the cost sits in the mould, not in the material. What decides the result is matching the gland to the cable diameter and tightening it properly, which is true of every gland at every price.
In sheltered outdoor positions, yes: PA66 is UV-stabilised and the gland is IP68. For permanent exposure to salt spray, strong UV plus ozone, or wash-down chemicals, use a metal gland with an EPDM or silicone seal — the nylon body will discolour and eventually embrittle.
Yes. The same body is available with metric (EN 60423), PG (DIN 40430) and NPT (ANSI B1.20.1) threads. The thread systems are not interchangeable, so confirm the enclosure entry before ordering.
−40°C to +100°C static and −20°C to +80°C dynamic. The NBR grommet is the practical limit. Above +100°C the correct product is a brass or stainless gland, not a higher-temperature nylon.
